The next time you noticed the symptoms of stress and feel like shouting with frustration, Sing one of your favorite song. The words could make you happier and singing will regulate your breathing, reducing the body’s stress response.

SLEEP YOUR WAY THROUGH STRESS.

Stress can cause sleep issues, leaving you fatigue and vulnerable to illness and increase anxiety, nervousness and irritability. If you find yourself overwhelmed by worries, write them down, which will help you forget them until in the morning.

SNIFF STRESS AWAY WITH ESSENTIAL OILS.

Several essential oils have powerful calming effects. Keep a bottle of lavender, sandalwood,and camomile oil to hand and sniff as needed. Or dab a few drops of the oil on a hand- kerchief and carry with you.

DONT STRESS WITH EXPRESSOS.

Beware of reaching for a cup of coffee in an attempt to reduce feeling of stress. Coffee raises adrenaline levels by more than a third making you feeling more stressed, especially if you drink it alone. Instead go for herbal tea or a glass of water which soothe your nerves.

DONT LET STRESS AFFECT YOUR WORK.

Not only can stress adversely affect your concentration, making you perform poorly at college, university and on the job, but the hormones it releases into your body can cause weight gain or weight loss.

FLEX YOUR FACE .

Studies have shown that many women react to tension by clenching the jaw, which only makes stress worse . If you find yourself with clenched jaw, stretch your facial muscles by opening your mouth and eyes in a look of surprise. Hold this expression for a few seconds before relaxing. Repeat 4 to 5 times for starting.

BREATHE AWAY PANIC.

LIE ON your BACK and BALANCE a BOOK on your BELLY then BREATHE IN through your NOSE. The BOOK should RISE UP HOLD BREATHE OUT through your Mouth.

Now you know that’s how BELLY BREATHING FEELS. Practice it to slow yourself down, it regulates breathing and avoid hyperventilation. It’s a good first aid remedy for panic attack and stress. Please check with your doctor before attempting at home.
