The Bible Story In A Nutshell.

THE SHORT VERSION.

In today’s world where everyone is bustling or overwhelmed with information overload you can see why brevity is a great value. Whether you are a scholar, someone with a curious mind, someone seeking to understand or seeking some sort of inspiration, believer or unbeliever you’re free to read my short version of the Bible in most compact form.

CREATION OF THE WORLD-ADAM-EVE

First,God created an ideal world and put two people to produce people. He gave them the choice to build a relationship with Him or not. Those first people made a mess of things even before they started to produce children.

THE FLOOD-NOAH AND HIS FAMILY.

Then humanity sort of started all over again. Noah and his family were the only survivors of the worldwide catastrophic flood. Noah’s descendants had the same choice, to build a relationship with God or not. Within a few generations, things were in the same mess again.

GOD ESTABLISHED A COVENANT AGREEMENT WITH ABRAHAM.

God remained intent on building a relationship with the people of the world. So He established a contract-like, covenant agreement with a man named Abraham. Abraham promised to obey God and to teach and train his family to do the same.

God promised Abraham many descendants. He also promised that out of those descendants would come the Messiah who would deliver the people, his name would be Jesus. Many thought that the Messiah was coming as a Political deliverer and would be high mighty and pompous man not this man called Jesus.

JESUS CAME AS THE MESSIAH.

Jesus came lived and died and lived again. When He left our world, He left behind the message of that having a relationship with God requires faith, rather than perfection by our works or our part as human,there’s no perfect human being. He left a group of people who were suppose to keep the message going which was the good news Jesus came with and taught while on earth.

Jesus left behind a Promise that He would return, that the world would not always be a broken and disappointing place, one day all the messes would be cleaned up. There will be Peace as war will cease. So Until Then….

WE WAIT FOR THAT TIME, IN FAITH, TRYING TO KEEP THINGS AS TIDY AS WE CAN,WITH JESUS AS OUR HELPER.
