When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
To be really honest it’s myself and family came first and next in line was Malala Yousafzai but I’ll talk about her for today’s prompt.
Who Is Malala Yousafzai?
She was born in the town of Mingora in the district of Swat in Pakistan.
Courage Knows No Age.
In 1997, from an early age she defied the societal and cultural norms and started to be an advocate and voice for the right to education particularly for girls,in her native village of the region. Her unwavering commitment to learning and education made her a prominent voice against oppression and inequality.
In 2012 Malala survived an attacked by Taliban terrorists. This was a huge turning point to her international spotlight and success. She became the YOUNGEST-ever NOBLE PRIZE laureate, Speaker at the United Nations, appearing on high profile magazine cover and media outlets . She is also an author.
Inspiring and Motivating millions worldwide with her powerful story for girls education and equality against all odds. Malala a champion of educational equality with determination,commitment,resilience and courage. Sparked meaningful changes and became a beacon of hope against adversity and her age.

Very much so! I am not easily emotionally moved by stories or movies but the first time I read about her I kept following her life not social media but by news articles up to her kidnapped attack….each time she spoke I am overwhelmed right up to her books.
