Detoxification or detox is a natural body process through which toxins and harmful substances built up overtime, primarily in the liver,kidney and skin are removed. This eliminating process helps the body’s internal system to maintain a proper healthy balance.
Simple and Effective Natural Detox Tips.
GET ENERGETIC WITH A CLEANSING TONIC.
Try this cleansing tonic to help strengthen your liver: 200ml (7fl oz) spring water, juice of a lemon, pinch of powdered ginger, 1tblsp. Flax seeds, 1tsp. psyllium powder blend or mix well.
Lemon and Ginger Flavor.
Season food with lemon juice, garlic,ginger, and or cayenne pepper all of which support the detox process while adding flavor.
GET A PEPPER PICK-UP.
Chilli and cayenne pepper are excellent additions to a detox regime because they not only add taste to your food but vital in eliminating toxins and harmful substances.They help in weight management by cutting down on hunger pangs and food cravings.
PURIFY WITH A HOME HERBAL TEA.
Make a purifying herb tea from 1 teaspoon of each of nettle, peppermint, dandelion root and red clover combined in a saucepan, with 3 cups of cold water. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15mins. Strain and sweeten with natural honey if you wish to.PLEASE NO REFINED SUGAR.
For first morning energy-giving detox drink made with 1 cup hot water, lemon juice, freshly grated thumb of ginger,1teasp.maple syrup or natural honey and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mix well.
SPLASH WITH SALSA INSTEAD OF BUTTER.
Use hot tomato salsa as an alternative to butter or mayonnaise to add spice or flavor to your bake potatoes, to meat and fish. It taste so delicious but the chilli and tomatoes helps in detoxing your body. That’s very important.

Oats are great food for detoxing as they help the body to flush out toxins as well as releasing their energy slowly into the body to prevent cravings ( unrolled oats are more effective for this) and lowering cholesterol in the blood.
DETOX YOUR ARTERIES.
Many studies have shown that eating garlic can help reduce the build-up of plaque in the arteries, and even clear away existing deposits. Aim to include some in your diet once a day or take a garlic supplement.
DETOX WITH BEET DRINK.
For a detoxifying antidote for the body including all that partying, ( if you do) try beetroot juice mixed with the juices of carrot , apple, celery, and ginger. The celery has various antioxidants compounds that will help neutralize the effects of cigarette smoke,while the ginger will help relieve any nausea, stomachache, diarrhea or other harmful substances than cigarette smoke.
