The stress of war affected ALL PEOPLE, all means all and that’s all it means.
OUT OF CONTROL.
Stress runs rampant. Our competitive, compact, complex world takes it’s toll on our minds, spirits, and bodies, leaving us used up, burned out,run over, completely worn down.
Sometimes an emotional explosion is enough to relieve the build-up pressure; an out burst of honest anger can restore perspective. Sometimes all you need is nice week or long vacation- a chance to get away from it all, with no phones,or any other strings attached. But sometimes the problem is deeper, then you need to seek professional help.
Have you come to a point where your headaches with the sound of your own grinding gears and your eyes burn with the smoke of your own emotional live wires. Then self-healing is not working seek professional or medical help.
Do you feel your strength being sapped and your energy drained by each new problem, each new day?
Are you swept up in a whirlwind that’s out of, awash in the fierce waves that you can swallow you whole?
” Lord, help” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves. What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor. (Psalm 107:28-30).
THE DAILY GRIND.
Work is a fact of live
For some people, that’s great. They love what they do,and they’re very good at it. Every day is an energizing adventure for them. They look forward getting out of bed and with bounces in their steps off they go. Great!
For others, work is just a four-letter word. Excessive demands, competing priorities, there seems to be no-win decisions, annoying co-workers, unfair criticism, unnoticed efforts, the unbroken monotony, the list goes on…makes it hard for them to get out of bed in the morning.
Not enough work or not enough meaning in your work destroy your sense of work. Too much work or too many demands can destroy your health your spirit.
” Six days a week are set a part for your daily duties and regular work, but the seventh day is a day of rest to the Lord your God .”(Exodus 20 :9-10). This rest is for your body mind and spirit well-being too.
“Peace I leave with you, Peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.“(St.John 14:27).
Stress is the worst!
Wonderful article! As I was reading your article this verse immediately came up in my spirit found in Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” Thank you for sharing this.
Amen ! Blessings and be strong .Thanks again.
Psalm 34:17-18 says, “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
This verse let us know that the Lord hears our cry and he sees our situation and will be there for us. All we have to do is ask!
