Ready For Anything and Flee to the Hills.

I will look up to the hills (Psalm 121 :1-2 ) and pray that my flight to the hills is not in winter. ( Matthew 24 :20-21 ). Lifting up of my eyes is used as a metaphor,in preparedness of my concerns, fears, hopes within my mind and spirit would be upwards in the confidence of my faith in the God of the hills the One who is greater than anyone from ” above. ”

I pray that my fleeing to the hills won’t be in the winter season. It would not be convenient for me to flee,very bad weather conditions freezing rain,black ice, walls of snow, slushy roads.These conditions would be putting me at high risks with the elements, it would not matter the emergency plan prepared .

What type of Emergency.

My plan has to be on the type of potential emergency likely to face based on location and environment. Is it prone to earthquakes, floods, wildfires,power outages,ice storms, internal or external invasion.God forbid it has nothing to do with nuclear.

Family and loved Ones Communications

Put together all emergency contact numbers, local authorities,immediate neighbors.Meeting and check points in case of loss and found persons. Emergency kits important docs. medications, vitamins personal hygiene things,organize for easy access, reading materials,few toys and games for children,flash lights,lighters, led candles. Dried and canned fruits,water bottles.

Stay informed and updated: Reminder to plan for those with special needs or disabilities, elderly, pets, plants in the family they must be part of the planning. Practice with household periodically,memorize evacuation routes.

BETTER TO BE PREPARED AND DONT NEED IT THAN TO NEED IT AND NOT PREPARED.
